Nordic Structural Engineering

Cross-Laminated Timber Structure

The Aurora sauna is built entirely from cross-laminated timber (CLT), an advanced structural material formed by bonding layers of solid wood at alternating angles. This construction provides exceptional strength, dimensional stability, and excellent heat retention in demanding sauna conditions.

Thermal Performance

Solid 60 mm Timber Walls

Thick 60 mm CLT wall panels create a highly insulated structure that heats efficiently and maintains stable temperatures during use. The solid timber construction also contributes to the sauna’s durability and structural rigidity over many years of thermal cycling.

Architectural Flexibility

Configurable Glass Layout

The Aurora design allows up to four additional glass panels to be added alongside the door. Their placement can be tailored to suit your space, balancing privacy, natural light, and surrounding views.

Nordic Practicality

Modular Panel Construction

The sauna is delivered as a flat-pack system designed for efficient transport and straightforward installation. Panels assemble in approximately four hours using standard tools, while the modular design also allows the sauna to be disassembled and relocated if required.
