European Thermo-Alder Bench Boards SHP

Our Thermo Alder bench boards are made from premium European Alder, transformed through heat treatment into a beautifully rich, warm-toned timber ideal for every sauna interior.

With its distinctive reddish-brown colour, subtle grain and elegant natural finish, Thermo Alder creates a welcoming atmosphere while adding depth and character to the space. Naturally resin-free, it won’t release sticky resin in high temperatures, while its fine grain and smooth finish provide a comfortable, skin-friendly surface ideal for sauna benches and backrests.

Thermo Alder also offers low heat conductivity, helping maintain a comfortable seating surface in hot sauna conditions. Combined with the enhanced dimensional stability achieved through thermal modification, it delivers a refined balance of natural beauty, comfort and lasting performance.
